Southend on Sea producer of electronica USRNM has a new outing on Southend based Hottwerk Records. Having previously remixed Spatial Awareness for Hottwerk, the Yarnbomb EP contains his first (and hopefully not last) original tracks for the label. And what an absolute treat it is – four knitting related titles (whether the music has any oblique codified referencing to the arcane arts of knitting is anyone’s guess) grace some absolutely gorgeous bass heavy, techno inflected downbeat electronic music. Off kilter, occasionally glitchy, but always stunning and interesting, this is a beautiful EP.
