The Couch Potatoes – ‘Hole You Can Eat’ EP

The new release from The Couch Potatoes is guaranteed to get you off the sofa and straight on to the dance floor. The funky nu-disco beats in their new EP ‘Hole You Can Eat’ will fill you up with feel good vibes, satisfying your cravings for a great tune.

The Italian boys behind the mix have certainly given our ears a treat as they showcase their first release, hoping for big things. The release provides a mix of classic house beats, splashed with a groovy 70’s feel which gives you a sense of Saturday night fever. The upbeat tempo makes the release a guaranteed floor filler and will take you back in time, making you feel lost in the moment.

The Couch Potatoes put out this release through Body Heat Music; a label who have worked with artists such as Simon De Jano and recently released a track called ‘The Bronx’ which is definitely worth a listen. Body Heat Music are known for their disco, turbofunk tunes and ‘Hole You Can Eat’ by The Couch Potatoes is no exception as it certainly stays true to the label’s style.

Although this funky style may be to an acquired taste, it is definitely enough to put anyone in the party mood as the fun feeling the track brings to the table is enough to make anyone feel like getting dressed up and going out on the town. As this is The Couch Potatoes first release with Body Heat Music, it is difficult to say whether the fans will dig the new beats, however up to now it seems to be going down a treat online and followers of the record label are showing signs of warmth towards the Italian duo with their support and comments.

The new release is not as popular as some of the other tracks on Soundcloud, however as it is their first release it could take a few weeks for the word to spread! Have a listen below and see what you think!
