The Noise Gate is looking for freelance writers to contribute dance & electronic music reviews, previews, event reports, DJ/producer interviews – whatever you fancy, really! (as long as it’s tenuously linked to raving of some persuasion…)
As well as the opportunity to earn commission on posts that are sponsored for inclusion in our weekly newsletter, there will be some awesome perks including press passes to various events and exclusive access to a huge amount of promotional music, weeks ahead of its general release.
The positions offered are very casual and flexible – in return for the opportunities we’ll give you, all we ask is that you write at least two posts per week. They can be as long or short as you want (within reason) provided they’re a good read and help maintain the vibrancy of the site’s content. Beyond that, the amount you contribute will be entirely up to you, but we’ll make sure that the more you put in, the more you’ll get back in return.
All contributors will be credited for every post and listed on the About Us page of the site, so this is a great way to get some experience if you are an aspiring dance or electronic music journalist.
