A brand new festival for 2016, Love International is to build on the legacy left by The Garden Festival in Croatia, which inspired the growing scene of electronic music now found along the country’s stunning coast.
Love International launches this summer, June 29th, in the picture-postcard town of Tisno, surrounded by pine forests and the glittering waters of the Adriatic Sea, hidden away with its own secluded beach and bay. By day a peaceful chill-out under the sizzling sun, as night closes in it will become a pulsating festival which looks out across the sea.
If the festival’s ethos seems a little familiar, that’s because it is curated by Dave Harvey and Tom Paine, who have many years of experience working with The Garden Festival’s crew and shaping its artist bookings. They plan to bring back some old friends who have played TGF over the years, while also introducing some of the world’s most revered DJs and producers for the first time to Tisno.
Names on the bill so far include Eats Everything, Bicep, Jackmaster, Dixon, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Ben UFO, Gerd Janson, Craig Richards, Joy Orbison, Midland, Horse Meat Disco, Prosumer, Hunee and Job Jobse. Boat parties and club shows are set to be revealed in the coming weeks.
