“Lights Out” is the new EP to emerge from US label Kompute Musik, with three tracks of shimmering analogue disco that seem to blur at the edges with techno and EBM, with their machine-driven motorik feel.

“Fade Into Darkness” starts proceedings off for the early-morning dancefloors; the slo-mo, slow burn of “No Light Is Visble” could be the soundtrack of machines getting strung out after one too many mornings… Finishing the package is the title track “Lights Out”, a pulsing slice of insistent electrodisco.
