King Krule – ‘Will I Come’ (Jad & The Ladyboy Remix)

Jad & The Ladyboy has done it again! Featured previously by us back in August when he released the melodic and uplifting ‘Party Strings’, the Brisbane-based producer definitely has a talent for creating awesome house music.

Mere hours ago Jad Lee, aka Jad & The Ladyboy, released another track for free! This time around it’s an edit of King Krule’s ‘Will I Come’, taken from 2013’s fantastic album ‘6 Feet Beneath The Moon’.

No stranger to sharing his music, Jad continues to provide the world with his own brand of “house booty soul”. The original track is a real short cut by Krule, somewhat saddening with eerie samples that get driven by pervasive drums and hi-hats.

Jad takes the original and finds room to upstart those elements, flexing his production muscles with a beefier edit that still plays out to Krule’s heart-wrenching vocals, adding a sprinkle of funk and a dash of tempo for good measure, giving the song a happier turn of events… the rainbow after the rain if you must.

Jad & The Ladyboy is a good one to keep an eye on, with some great releases recently and some stellar tracks that he gives out for free, we recommended you check him out.
