Kaluki Musik are back for another powerhouse showcase at The Albert Hall on Februay 26th – this time with the likes of heavy hitting Joris Voorn and Eats Everything.
One name that has for some time shone brightly as an ever-progressing talent amongst the pantheon of techno’s leading lights is the Dutch master Joris Voorn. Whilst his lifetime membership with the masters is still under growing application, the consistent calibre of his finely detailed production certainly places him in a position of undoubted consideration. He has an ever-increasing discography reaching from atmospheric interludes to broken beats, much of which appears on his own labels Rejected and Green – the latter releasing his critically acclaimed artist album ‘Nobody Knows’ in 2014, which was named by Billboard as their ‘Electronic Album Of The Year’.
He has forged a sound in both the DJ booth and the studio that’s both identifiable and individual.
Next up is Eats Everything (AKA Daniel Pearce) – a man who has come a hell of a long way since he first got his hands on a pair of decks aged 12. Last year proved to be one of his biggest years yet, with the release of his debut mix album Fries With That? and the launch of his own label and events series, Edible. Eats Everything’s hard work throughout the year was rewarded when he won the hotly-contended title of ‘Best British DJ’ at the DJ Mag Best of British Awards 2015.
As a DJ his high-octane performances combine house music with UK bass, garage, techno and jungle and he’s become no stranger to the upper echelons of the world wide club circuit, as well as all the key UK festivals.
Joining Eats Everything and Joris Voorn will be Manchester favourite Darius Syrossian, and support from Kaluki residents Pirate Copy & Pete Zorba.
