Jimmy Chou – ‘Chasing The Sun’

Discover White Label has today released ‘Chasing The Sun’ by Canadian trance pioneer, Jimmy Chou, who has been at the forefront of a growing scene in Vancouver since it rose from the city’s EDM movement several years ago.

‘Chasing The Sun’ is a follow-up to Jimmy Chou’s debut on Discover White Label, which came earlier this year with the ‘Broken Empires’ and ‘Blitz’ EP. After taking a break of little more than five months from the label – releasing music on non other than Manuel Le Saux’s Extrema Global in the interim – he has come back to DWL with a track that is aptly described by Discover HQ as “eight minutes of sun-soaked brilliance”. Having been hammered by the likes of Jordan Suckley in Ibiza this summer, it will no doubt bring back fond memories for those who have recently returned home from the Island Of Trance.

The track also marks a whopping 50 releases for Discover White Label, which was established in 2008 as a digital replacement for the much-loved and greatly missed vinyl white label – once a crucial backbone of the dance music industry for many years. Since its launch, DWL has remained true to its vision of becoming a vehicle for exciting new music in the true spirit of the original white label.
