Eager to keep his sound fresh and show some love after ghosting past 300,000 followers on Twitter, FlyLo – real name Steven Ellison – has released a heavy stash of free material straight from his hard drive. Despite the dizzy heights of his ever-expanding reputation (including his own radio station on ‘GTA V’), the zip file – titled ‘ideas+drafts+loops’ – is a signal to the world that he won’t let the attention go to his head.
“Hey u guys are gonna share this folder right?” the experimental beat-magician began on Twitter. “Pls pass it around. Pass to the homies. Rt the hell out of it. Lots of stuff n this folder. Some u knw. Some u don’t.”
And this is only the first instalment according to the man himself.
