Denis The Night & The Panic Party – Udu
Wall of Sound Records
We are thrilled to announce Denis The Night & The Panic Party will be releasing their first EP “Udu” on iconic English label Wall of Sound.
“I’m proud to release bands like Denis The Night & The Panic Party. They explore electronic music in a different way, through a combination of rock‘n’rave, chasing a new horizon, played live and real time” says Wall of Sound’s chief, Mark Jones.

“Udu” is a propeller of sonic raves and vocal landscapes, an exciting taster of the band’s mix of electro dream pop and noise, which is set to be unleashed via a full length album in September. The EP comprises also You Could Be My Home, a somewhat slower number, featured earlier this year on an award winning animation video by Enzo Lauria, which premiered at Big Shorts Film Festival (Los Angeles) and went on to win an award at Washington’s Nova Film Festival.
Denis The Night & The Panic Party, an idiosyncratic collective, was born two years ago on the road across Italy and United Kingdom from the power trio Ono Nora Fiorani, Nicola Sbrozzi and Alessandro Gobbi, seeking musical freedom with a project that could juxtapose elements from various genres like psychedelia, shoegaze, garage pop, electro and avant-garde.
The core trio soon evolved into a music and visual arts collective, featuring other like-minded artists with a simpatico disaffection for conventions, including photographer Giulia Delprato, visual artist Edoardo Preti and film-makers Enzo Lauria and Karin El Taifiova.
Having toured extensively bringing their music to prestigious festivals such as Primavera Sound Festival in Barcelona and cult indie venues like L’International in Paris, Denis The Night & The Panic Party have started making a name for themselves throughout Europe.
Is Denis a woman or a man? Or the illegitimate androgynous love child of a mythological two-headed beast turned reclusive rock star, dilapidating its cosmic youth in darkness…or is it light? The answer lies somewhere between the twisted vocals and manic beats of Udu. Expect a refreshingly original trip into astral grooves, subtle melodies and wild beats that will make your body want to move in a frenzied bacchanalia.
