The final element of Love International, returning for its 2nd year this summer in the picture-postcard town of Tisno on the stunning Dalmatian coastline, has now been revealed, with a brand new morning party called Reggae Version taking place and the Balearic-infused Sunrise Sessions returning this summer to complete the revered Adriatic odyssey.
All morning shows take place down by the glittering Adriatic waters, under the dappled shade of the many pine trees dotted around the grass and rocks. Back at the site it’s the only place to carry on from Barbarella’s, or for many who instead rise early fresh and wander down to join in. Set to a totally different pace to the rest of Love International, these four parties are both languid and enchanting, flowing from the cool dawn air and dreamy light all the way through to the balmy heat of the late morning.
Love International are first very proud to announce a special debut party in Croatia with Craig Richards, Fabric’s seminal resident, hosting Reggae Vision on Monday 3rd July from 6am – midday, alongside Felix Dickinson, Gideon, Paul Grognale and Tayo. The reggae and dub sets will bring a whole new dimension to the festival.
Dave Harvey, Love International’s co-founder, explains: “The idea for having a reggae/dub session on the beach came after a couple of late nights with Craig Richards, cruising round Poole in his vintage Merc with Scientist bumping out, coast side, and us thinking: wouldn’t this be quite special on the beach in Tisno! So I chatted to Felix about it as well and realised lots of our friends who are known for playing music for the club also had these incredible reggae collections as well, so it all seemed to make sense to us! We are always wanting to try out new things, and feel this bring a new dynamic to the festival.”
For the Sunrise Sessions, the parties take place on Friday 30th June with Test Pressing featuring Apiento, Begin and Lexx; then on Saturday 1st July it’s Jason Boardman, Kenneth Bager and Phil Mison at Aficiando; and finally Sunday 2nd July is a Down To The Sea and back session with Balearic Mike, Jonny Nash and Kelvin Andrews.
Tickets for the festival are still available here.
