Lazy Rich & Hot Mouth – ‘Bonk!’

Out today, Lazy Rich and Hot Mouth drop their latest single ‘Bonk!’ through Spinnin’ Records.

Following a recent remix for 3LAU on ‘How You Love Me’ (feat. Bright Lights) and an in-depth remix catalogue that includes the likes of Lady Gaga, Fatboy Slim, Chris Lake, Morgan Page, Zedd and Porter Robinson to name just a few, Canadian-based British producer Lazy Rich has been turning a fair few heads in the electro-house game of late.

This new release sees him team up with LA-based DJ Jon Pegnato, aka Hot Mouth, for their second collaboration of the year. Following the release of their track ’Flash’, which was put out on Deadmau5’s Mau5strap label back in May, the duo join forces once again to produce an original and belting electro-house stormer.

Opening with a thumping kick and snare combo before launching in with crunching rave pads and the subtle interjection of high-pitched strings at opportune moments, ‘Bonk!’ is full of energy. With it’s funky melodics and hefty bassline, the track has already received support on the scene from fellow DJ’s and looks set to tear up a few dances still.
