Jeremih – ‘Nobody But You’ (Eastern Bloc Remix)

New Zealand based duo Eastern Bloc come forward with a scintillating remix of Jeremih’s ‘Nobody But You’. Defining themselves as Club / Jersey / Rap & Bass, the pair consist of DJ’s Marek and Artur aka Beat Mob

Released as an exclusive download through the Sniffers blog, who – much like us at TNG – have to admit to not knowing much about the Jersey genre, their remix of ‘Nobody But You’ has been generating some hype online with support from Reprezent FM’s Future Bounce show as well as GRRL.

Sniffers report that the duo picked the track up on a low bit rate leak before pulling out the accapella and recreating the chords which surround the hooky vocal. With (unconfirmed) suspicions that this may make an appearance on the new Jeremih album, which drops on October 8th, we are all on the edge of our seats as to what will happen.

With a super fresh, laid back and twinkling beat laying the foundations of the track, the pair add momentum with a fair few drum rolls and crunching injections of bass around a clipped central vocal hook and misty piano chords. It’s fair to say, this remix is pretty addictive.
