PREMIERE: Bunty – ‘We Are Here’ (Clap! Clap! Remix)

Fresh off the back of releasing his ‘Tayi Bebba’ album through Black Acre Records, Cristiano Crisci aka Clap! Clap! comes through with a remix of a new track from Brighton-based musician and artist Bunty.

A multi-disciplinary artist who, alongside her own individual projects, provides vocals for UK dub outfit The Resonators, renegade electro collective Beatabet and folk song trio Le Juki; Bunty has so much to offer. A beatboxer, singer, composer and master of the solo vocal loop, her talents are seemingly endless!

Having collaborated with beatbox champions such as Dub FX, Shlomo and Beardyman, and toured alongside the likes of Jamie Woon, Scroobius Pip and Arrested Development, this lady has some serious credentials behind her! Clap! Clap! shows this off to full effect in his remix: blending together her various stylistic influences to create something entirely fresh, original and uplifting!

Crisci comes through with a deliciously upbeat and carnivalesque remix of single ‘We Are Here’, taken from Bunty’s forthcoming album ‘Multimos’. Delivering a thriving and vibrant rework of the original cut, with lush vocals sitting atop a amalgamation of claps, chanting harmonies, tribalistic drum work and tasty synth interjections, this remix is both feel good and addictive!

Having already gathered a keen following of supporters at 6Music in Steve Lamacq, Tom Robinson and Amy Lame, Bunty looks set to shine very brightly. With the remix set for release on 29th September, as a B-side to the Multimos track Congatron, we don’t think it’ll be long before she truly takes off! Remember, you heard it here first!
