Cubicolor – ‘Got This Feeling’ EP

Trance has taken an interesting few turns during the course of its existence within music, hate it or love it, it’s stayed around for quite some time, and through its ever changing sounds, being pushed from one place to the next, there is something to admire about Anjunadeep. What started out as Above & Beyond’s smaller imprint of Anjunabeats to release some of the deeper sounds (obviously), the label quickly sprung into a life from the depths of house, minimal and tech, crafting a unique sound all of its own.

Now for all that is known about the Anjuna mainstays, not much is actually known about one of their most acclaimed new talents – Cubicolor. There’s been a few remixes and the fantastic ‘Next Planet’ EP, which rolling on the wave from that is the ever more impressive ‘Got This Feeling’ EP, the lead single of the same name premiered last week, its received praise from all the internet cats, with its warm build-up, slowly bringing you the best parts of summer into one final ray of sun soaking into your skin, melted together with lofty strings, and when the vocals come in, it’s all over, you could be anywhere and the song will bring a smile to your face.
