Fresh off his recently released X Years in London film soundtrack, Braiden returns to both his label and the dancefloor for Off Out’s 4th single and one of his most energetic releases to date.
V.O.L.A.T. is a bold, metallic juggernaut, twisting through sonic labyrinths over its ten minute duration. At once direct and amorphous, the track plays with the foreboding and the gentle, with organic and metallic sounds intertwining with imposing resolve.
Hydroplane resides on the flip side of this release, a relentless jacker with juddering pitched toms working their way through chromium chords and disembodied cavernous vocals. A pacey showcase of tension and release to synergise with the perpetual motion of the dance floor.
