The Warehouse Project is getting ready to takeover We Love Sundays at Space on September 7th.
For the first time ever, The Warehouse Project is hosting an event in Ibiza and we can hardly contain our excitement. Having dominated the Northern dance scene for almost a decade, this extra special collaboration with We Love Sundays at Space precedes the opening of their ninth WHP season in Manchester.
Headlining the event will be none other than Nicolas Jaar, which will be his only Ibiza appearance of 2014. DJ’ing in the Discoteca, he will be alongside George Fitzgerald and Joy Orbison who are due to play back to back. Jaar’s reputation is arguably more prominent in Ibiza than anywhere else at the moment. His music is symbolic of the island’s counter culture and the rarity of his gigs there means that this performance is set to be as influential as the first ever Ibiza WHP show merits. WHP residents Greg Lord and Krysko complete the bill in the main room, making their We Love Sundays At Space debuts.
The Terrace is being granted another debut performance in the form of house legend Kerri Chandler. His musical legacy is well documented, as is his recent history with Ibiza. It’s fair to say that this one-off performance is not to be missed. Also on the bill on the Terrace is Eats Everything who will be making his second We Love appearance of the summer; this time playing back to back with Richy Ahmed, another artist making his We Love Sundays At Space debut especially for the WHP event. Richy and Eats are set to play a mammoth 4 hour closing set. Also appearing will be Benoit & Sergio who will be playing live for the first time ever.
Keeping with tradition, things will be kicking off on the Sunset Terrace with Stripped and a host of special unnanounced guests. For this special event, Stripped have joined forces with Kaluki, who have consistently been at the forefront of a sound they are now synonymous with. From midnight the Sunset Terrace will transform as Mr Doris continues his After Dark Residency, joined by DJ Cheeba.
Finally, on the Premier Etage, Drop The Mustard continue the WHP takeover. Drop The Mustard residents will host the roof top all night from midnight until close. Over in El Salon, Ibiza Spotlight round out their Space residency is style, inviting Kenneth Bagger to present “Music For Dreams” in the most intimate of Space’s 5 rooms.
We’ll let you know how it goes!
