Hello,
Splinter, a new French label set up by Andy Gardiner (Vicarious Bliss of Ed Banger fame in a previous life) will be releasing ‘Code Red’ by ALBERT FALLEN, a hot new duo from Paris, on Friday April 28th.
Here is a private soundcloud for the track :

The track will be accompanied by a video that will be premiering on TSUGI here in France on the release day.
We are looking for audio and video premieres in all other territories up to and around the release and would be very happy to set this up with you should you like the track and feel that it fits your audience.
The band’s previous release 2 months ago, ‘Make This Right’, put out by themselves was very well received across all platforms with great playlisting straight off the bat (‘New Music Friday’s @ Spotify etc).

We hope you like the track and please get back to me if you would be interested in putting it up in whatever form between now and the 28/04.
Below FYI are Splinter’s previous releases from february onwards when we launched in conjunction with Believe Digital. Support from the platforms has been massive since the get-go with a combined playlist reach now of over 12million subscribers (with about 2 million streams scanned – damn the ‘shuffle’ function !).
We are dropping a fresh track every 2 weeks so please don’t hesitate to sign up on the web site below to receive everything straight to your inbox too. All the artwork & design of the label is handled by hot new Parisian artist REGARDS COUPABLES (+330K followers on instagram in less than a year !)

As we have a very high turnover/output of new tracks (the whole raison d’être of Splinter – to get as much cool stuff out as painlessly as possible), we are looking to partner up with different media in different territories over the longterm – as you can see we have with Tsugi (France’s biggest selling modern music magazine) via all the video premieres listed below. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch with me if you would like to talk about this more or if I can assist you with anything concerning a potential premiere for Albert Fallen on the 28/04 with you,
Thanks sincerely,
Myriam

Previous SPLINTER releases (label was launched mid february 2017 – we’re still very young !) :
PATAWAWA – ‘DIVERSION’ (02/10)
Patawawa, otherwise known as Sam, Rory and Beth, are a trio from Matlock, UK. They’ve been playing together for about 2 years now and spent last summer performing at festivals including Fieldview, Dot 2 Dot, Y-Not and 2Q Festival and supporting acts such as Youngr, The Go! Team and EKKAH. They’ve been endorsed by Paul Lester (Guardian’s Band of the Week) and have had great support from BBC Introducing’s Dean Jackson. ‘Diversion’ is a huge slice of infectious pop that make us feel like the summer has come six months early !

ROMAN KOUDER – ‘1994’ (02/17)
Roman Kouder had a busy 2016. Originally composing with Crayon, his solo productions have now scanned over a million plays during the last year along with healthy iTunes chart placings. His production skills were also in demand from other artists along with soundtrack work but early 2017 sees him concentrating on a new series of EPs. Never more at ease than behind the decks, he plays out regularly in the Parisian clubs and now is hosting his own mixes on France’s prestigious Radio FG.

REGARDS COUPABLES – ‘DAZED’ (02/24)
Already causing quite a stir in the art world with his pop-up expos, kinky merchandise & a huge army of over 300K Instagram followers, the mysterious Regards Coupables is aboard the Splinter adventure as the label’s unique artistic director. He also makes great music & without any hint of nepotism on our behalf. ‘Dazed’ was recorded & mixed in one evening and we’ve decided to leave it ‘just as’. Because it’s perfect.

CÄTCÄT – ‘REBIRTH’ (03/17)
March is treating CatCat well with his track ‘Poison’ being a highlight on Mixmag UK’s ‘album of the month’ (Slow Porn). So at Splinter, we’re very honoured that he’s given us a mad & deep club burner ‘Rebirth’ – 100% ear & feet satisfaction guaranteed ! CätCät has scanned well over a million plays across the platforms since releasing his first EP ‘Kisses’ back in 2015. Playing some of the biggest festivals (Calvi, Big, Marvelous Island etc) whilst keeping a foot in the clubs around France & abroad, from Sweden to Mozambique, CätCät keeps it (schitzo)phrenic – Miaou !

ROMAN KOUDER – ‘TURN AWAY’ (03/31)
Roman Kouder is back dropping us a new joint ‘Turn Away’ – the freshest of downtempo future house tracks. Sensual vocals come courtesy of Australia’s Georgia Mae. An important part of the Splinter crew, April will see him making his radio debut with mixes on France’s prestigious FG Radio & Radio NOVA. Much more to come ! The track is premiering on release day in the US via XXX channel on edm.com

TEXTURE DROITE – ‘FULL SPEED ON THE WRONG LANE’ (04/14)
SOME TEXTURE, SOME MATTER – strong, tangible, grainy, fluid and moving. SOME STRAIGHTNESS, SOME TUNNEL, SOME PATH – forward, full speed on the wrong lane, desperately pushing and intimately delicate – SOME HEADLONG RUSH to a past barely known.
Straight out of Marseilles, the young TEXTURE DROITE is releasing his first single, ‘Full Speed On The Wrong Lane’, on the 14th of April via Splinter. The video will premier on TSUGI & in the UK this friday.
