After a brief hiatus we’re back with another TNG podcast to light the touchpaper on your Friday night. This time we see the return of Diegetics to the controls, yet with a slightly different sound to that of his usual tough techno-driven sets.
“I went for a different vibe this week,” he explains. “This was one of the best months we’ve ever had for promos in my opinion – I found a few great tracks at around 110 – 120bpm, so I thought I’d throw them in alongside some cool funk and disco records I like. There’s a nice tempo shift in there though that allowed me to drop in some techno, before getting back to basics with a few classic disco edits and housers!”
Neither Diegetics or TNG can work out who originally wrote the 4th track on this mix. We know it’s a deadly sins edit, but that’s about it. If anyone can tell us who the original artist was, please let us know by commenting on the Facebook page.
Let the weekend commence!
