Arizona producer Thomas B gets seriously deep on his latest release, the moody, bass-led Augmented Place EP.
The Free Love Digi favourite returns to Quentin Hiatus’ boundary-pushing label with four more tracks, each a minimalist exercise in bass weight informed by the producer’s normal half-time drum & bass sounds as well as an intoxicating trip-hop twist.
The atmosphere stays dark throughout, but there is careful sound design on each track and the title track rounds off the record with some breakbeat action.
