A couple of things worthy of a heads up over the next couple of weeks as super-artisitc label PAN reveal their birthday plans and blossoming tech label 303 Lovers announce a four-date residency.
Berlin-based label PAN have announced plans to celebrate their 5th birthday. The imprint, renowned for their artistic approach to electronic music and soundscapes, have revealed three “specially curated collaborations” in the coming month.
Their programme will see a number of artists from across the spectrum of expression – from musicians, visual artists and poets – beginning with a showcase at the CTM14 festival in Berlin, currently underway until Sunday. There are also two special events taking place in London, one in the Victoria & Albert Museum, the other in the Southbank Centre.
Several label artists will be performing and speaking at CTM14 Berlin, under “the theme of Dis Continuity”. CTM Festival, in its 13th year, describes itself as “Germany’s most important gathering for electronic and experimental music” and will last from the 24th of January to the 2nd of February.
The event at the Southbank Centre, ‘Harmonic Series presents’, takes place on the 7th of February and features a new piece from Turner Prize winner Mark Leckey and “legendary sound artist” Florian Hecker. Lee Gamble will present an exclusive audiovisual show alongside visual artist Dave Gaskarth plus a experimental collaboration with Boiler Room and much more.
The V&A Museum will see the ‘Sound It Out’ exhibition on the 31st of January. “Offering premieres of new audio/visual/contextual collaborative works” as a continuation of their “exploratory commitment,” and explores the relationship between music and technology – “from analogue to digital, from live streaming to digital manipulation.”

With tours over four continents, the 303 Lovers brand is quickly become one of the brightest production houses in the tech and tech house game.
The first date of the residency will kick off on the 21st of February and will feature the guys behind 303 Lovers, Manuel De La Mare and Luigi Rocca, back to back.
