Tee Vish – ‘Cordis’ EP

Manchester’s Big People Music, aka BPM, have been turning heads within the city with their big, grimy club sounds and raucous jump up events for a fair few years now.

Last year BPM launched their own in-house label. Kicking things off back in March with G.S.One’s ‘Lucid Dreams’ EP, which paired quivering basslines with gleaming synths coloured in sensual melancholy, the local upstarts entered into the market on a high with strong backing from the likes of Butterz’ dons Elijah and Skilliam, Pelican Fly boss DJ Slow and Manchester oracle Zed Bias.

Now they step forward with a new five track release from Tee Vish, marking the second release in the BPM catalogue. The ‘Cordis’ EP shows Tee Vish harness a unique mix of grime, funky and dance with additional vocals supplied by d&b styler Jenna G on the uplifting opener ‘Touch’. As the EP progresses Vish darts between shimmering synth lines and darker garage blends, constructing a mix of powerful club anthems and harder riddims.

With support already pouring in thick and fast from Monki, Annie Nightingale, Spooky, Roska, Zed Bias, Madam X and more, as well as air play on Radio 1 and 1xtra, this release looks set to blow up. Out today, take a listen for yourself now below and pick up your own copy here.
