After drawing early comparisons to the likes of Frank Ocean and The Weeknd, Nashé has taken the soulful/trappy lane & mixed it with English feels.
The Sheffield-raised act first came through via Brownswood Recordings’ Future Bubblers program, which saw the label mentoring emerging artists admired by Gilles Peterson and the label.
On ‘Used To’ we get the sort of emotional lyricism and clever production synonymous with acts like Drake and Post Malone, but clearly Nashé shows he’s quite capable of mixing with the big boys and is geared to make his mark in a competitive genre.
Now releasing music on DryCry Records, Nashé will be releasing his debut EP late 2017.
