Mark System – ‘Final Approach’ LP [Exit]

Next up on Exit Records comes Mark System’s Final Approach LP.

Having first entered the scene as an emcee, Mark System has been active in the genre of d&b for over a decade. With recent releases on the likes of Warm Communications, Subtitles and Shy FX’s Digital Soundboy, the producer weilds a hefty reference sheet in terms of his artistic backing.

Having already made several notable contributions to the Exit catalogue including his single The Voices/Peach Fuzz in 2010 and Observation Point on the highly acclaimed Mosaic Vol 1 LP, the producer steps up to the plate with his first foray into the long player format.

As the news of Mark’s first LP Final Approach hit, so built the anticipation to hear his own perspective on the format. As the landscape of electronic music albums has changed, partially as a result of the boom of the internet and digital sales, we were interested to see how he would interpet the LP his way.

Set to drop through dBridge’s label at the end of the month, according to the label Exit the release combines “combines Mark’s technical skills with his refreshing musicality”. With plenty of emphasis on instrumentation and melody to boot, the producer delivers an original 11 track project packed to the brim with character.
