Magic Door returns to London this Saturday for a new glitter-fuelled adventure

After an amazing party back in May at the start of the summer, Magic Door is returning to London on Saturday 30th November at The Cause for a rare winter foray.

Magic Door remains one of the UK’s most intriguing club nights, one built around an immersive ethos where the look and feel of each night is as important as the music itself. And its very loyal crowd reciprocate the effort right back, with an all manner of outlandish costumes.

And for the very first time they are debuting at The Cause, by far London’s most important club throughout this year – and also one which is soon to close, too. So this is quite literally a once and only chance to catch the Magic Door madness in this innovative pop-up space, with three intimate rooms and a wonderful outdoor area channelling the halcyon days of The Cross back into the present. Uniting Magic Door’s wild creativity at The Cause’s celebrated space promises to be one of the shows of the year in London.

Music wise, Room 1 is packed full of Magic Door favourites including PBR Streetgang and Maxxi Soundsystem on headline duties playing the Magic Door-synonymous sound of disco and techno. Room 2 is hosted by the deep melodic house and tech party, Lost in Sound, headed up by Magic Door regular Ollie Mundy. And finally Room 3 will be going fully Balearic, disco and edit-led, with Magic Door and Ibiza icon Mr Doris hosting with a crew of hand-picked party-starting friends in tow.

Expect all the usual – and unusual – Magic Door frills and thrills and mind-bending production at The Cause, as the transient venue’s industrial feel is fully explored and maximised. Plus there are the Crafty Girls on hand for make-up duties, plenty of outrageous outfits, Magic Beans for all, pretty much a truck full of glitter and other makeover silliness and of course never forgetting… there’s a real Magic Door.

Tickets are available via Skiddle and Resident Advisor.
