September 24th will see a collective of the greatest DJs from all over the globe battle it out for ultimate DJ supremacy, along with a custom made gold Rane Sixty-Two Mixer, at the universally renowned DMC World Championship Finals. The event will see the O2 Forum Kentish Town play host to some of the music industry’s finest DJs, including a guest set from turntable legends Invisibl Skratch Pikls.
Sponsored by pro-audio equipment manufacturers Rane and Peavey, the DMC World Championship Finals has become one of the music world’s most recognisable and prestigious titles, playing host to past champions including DJ Fly, Plus One, Craze, Kentaro, and last year’s DMC Online Finals winner DJ Brace. As extra incentive, this year Rane are gifting the winner one of their exclusive, custom made gold Rane Sixty-Two Mixers.
Presented in the iconic O2 Forum Kentish Town, the event will take place between 14:00-23:00, and offer a running set of four workshops to all attendees, from lyricism/DJ lessons to break-dancing and beat boxing introduction tips, encouraging the next generation of urban music artists and aspiring DJs.
Featuring a guest DJ performance from DJ Woody, who will be showcasing tracks from his new album ‘The Point Of Contact’ alongside a live band, and a beatbox showcase from Killa Kela & The Spitkingdom, this year’s DMC World Championship Finals is certainly not one to miss. Primed with an array of musical experiences and displays, September 24th is set to go off with a bang!
