King of Rats is the freshly formed collaborative endeavour of London based duo, DJ Quiz and Cle K. Their debut track, ‘Lions Dining out’, features London songstress Krystal and is scheduled to be released alongside featured remixes on 11th October 2013 through new-style record label and publisher, ‘Sinnmusik’.
Immense breaks and a heavy bass lead the original to its peak as harmonious chords and captivating, fractious vocals stimulate a sense of melodious freedom and lively surprise as you listen. The first of the two remixes comes from Rico Casazza, who translates the original in his own relaxed style yet still remaining techy and spirited. The second comes from DJ Quiz himself who exudes a “deep space disco glow”, yielding the gently filtered vocals amidst a heavenly sound.
With a diverse blend of clever production present, King Of Rats and Sinnmusik bring a sensational insight into what’s set to be an interesting and successful future.
