Ibiza Rocks Announce Full Line Up for We Are Rockstars

We Are Rockstars’ full line up for the fifth 16-week series of open-air, poolside shows has now been confirmed, featuring a diverse mix of music legends and fresh, influential talents, with names from across house, drum & bass, garage and grime.

Kicking things off on Friday June 3rd will be Stormzy with his first of four #Merky shows at Ibiza Ricks Hotel.

Ram Records’ drum & bass hero Wilkinson played a huge set at last years’ opening party and he’s back again to headline on June 10th when acclaimed club brand Metropolis takeover the We Are Rockstars stage. Firm UK Garage favourites Ms.Dynamite and DJ Luck & MC Neat, plus drum & bass collective North Base, completes the heavy-hitting line up.

We Are Rockstars royalty Example & DJ Wire return for three incredible shows this summer, joined on June 17th by the musical force from Faithless Sister Bliss and fresh London talent and 2016 festival favourite Barely Legal.  July 1st will see hugely-hyped Leeds DJ and MC Tom Zanetti & K.O Kane support before their final show of the summer on August 18th when fast-rising grime star Elf Kid and acclaimed house and bass duo Apexape take to the stage.

Multi-platinum selling drum and bass duo turned chart superstars Sigma return for the third year in a row in on June 24th. Achieving almost two million worldwide single sales in the past year alone, Sigma are set for one of the biggest shows in the Balearics this summer. Support comes from BBC Radio 1’s MistaJam and grime legend Big Narstie who both return separately in the summer for Craig David’s TS5 pool party residency.

Having recently completed an incredible 24-hour set, raising over £60K for Cancer Research UK, pioneering garage selector DJ EZ is heading back to Ibiza to top an enviable bill for We Are Rockstars 5th Birthday on July 15th. Well known for his extensive and technically superb sets, DJ EZ was responsible for one of the standout sets of the summer last year. Joining the big birthday line up is two of the best of the new breed, hotly tipped grime MC Majestic and South London rapper Yungen.

Queen of bassline Hannah Wants brings her brilliant club brand What Hannah Wants centre stage on July 22nd, with the good lady herself headlining a line up that also features fellow female DJ force and long-standing We Are Rockstars friend Monki plus British producer and DJ Billy Kenny.

West London collective Kurupt FM take their Champagne Steam Rooms to We Are Rockstars for a highly anticipated White Isle debut on July 29th and back for more on August 19th. With a cult following and hugely popular ‘People Just Do Nothing’ TV show behind them, good tunes and good times are guaranteed.  The July 29th line up also features Black Butter Records’ My Nu Leng & MC Dread and BBC Sound of 2015 nominee and grime starlet Novelist whilst August 19th will see UK garage icons So Solid Crew and current Queen of the new rap pack Lady Leshurr take to the stage.

For the third year running, the incredible and influential crew at Rinse FM takeover for a standout show on September 2nd featuring godfather of grime Wiley with fellow titan of the scene Slimzee, bassline heavyweight Redlight and Rinse’s very own Sam Supplier.  Just like We Are Rockstars, Rinse continue to champion underground music and new talent, shaping popular culture and influencing a scene so deserving of recognition, appreciation and representation in Ibiza.

Following his standout Ibiza debut at We Are Rockstars last summer, the legendary David Rodigan is coming back with his reggae dancehall beats for a seminal set of star-lit shows in August and September.  Joining the Ram Jam line up on August 12th is first lady of garage Ms Dynamite and garage-grime DJ and Producer extraordinaire Preditah.   September 16th will see Rodigan bring We Are Rockstars to the ultimate climax at the closing party, with Lady Leshurr making a welcome return to the world-famous We Are Rockstars stage.
