UK bass pioneer Holy Goof teams up with emerging artist Massappeals on Everybodied: a slick combination of classic and current influences for the new rave generation.
Combining old-school style hoover stabs and euphoric vocals with the production punch of UK bass music at it’s fiercest, Everybodied is an epic debut collaboration from these two cutting-edge artists.
A driving force at the very forefront of UK bass culture: Holy Goof is a key protagonist in a scene and sound that has had a huge impact on electronic music. Vividly hurling his own elements, ingredients and flavours into the bass music melting pot since 2014, Holy Goof’s sound is direct, heavy, energetic and playful, taking cues from across the sonic landscape.
As one of the earliest artists to emerge in the UK bass movement, he’s helped shape it and take it across the worldHis versatile and innovative approach and influences have also led him to work with an A-list rollcall of cross-spectrum collaborators (DJ Zinc, My Nu Leng, Jauz, Flava D, Chris Lorenzo, Notion) and remixes (Tiesto, Post Malone, Martin Garrix, Khalid, NGHTMRE and A$AP Ferg).
Massappeals began writing music at the age of 18, and has explored a variety of different genres over a range of previous aliases, with records signed to Sony, Atlantic, Universal been on Primary talent and worldwide DJ tours. As part of the writing trio Invisible Men he’s penned songs for the likes of Iggy Azalea, Rita Ora, Gary Barlow, Bexey Swan and Charles Hamilton. As Massappeals he’s released on labels like Hot Damn and Astral Black, with Everybodied marking his Musical Freedom debut.
