“Forever” by Grizzly Coast is a Tender Ode to Anti-Love

Grizzly Coast, Alannah Kavanagh’s Toronto-based indie rock project, has released “Forever,” the newest slice of her forthcoming debut EP (due out this spring). Watch the official music video – filmed at Pie in the Sky studios in Toronto by Parliament Pictures Co. – now.

Produced by Taylor Lucas, “Forever” embraces the idea that you should never wait around for someone who can’t make up their mind on if they want to be with you, while also acknowledging the confusing feelings of projection and desire that typically accompany that dynamic.

Forever” acts as a warning that while it can be easy to get caught up in relationships that repeatedly push you away and pull you back in – mixed signals in dating are actually a strong message. It’s important to step away from that cycle once it becomes clear.

Formerly performing as an acoustic singer-songwriter, Grizzly Coast wears her expansion into full-band territory well, having toured her powerful and effervescent live show throughout Ontario and Alberta, including opening slots for Fast Romantics, Begonia, and Exclaim!‘s Class of 2020.
