Flying Lotus’s new album ‘You’re Dead’ is set to drop on Monday, and prior to the album’s release Fly Lo has reportedly hidden ten test pressings in record stores across the country!
Amidst much hype for the forthcoming album, which will include features from Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, Thundercat, Niki Randa and Angel Deradoorian as well as Fly Lo himself rapping under his Captain Murphy alias, Flying Lotus has pulled a well-manouevered PR stunt by announcing that ten test pressings of his new album have been hidden inside the stores of UK independent Record shops.
According to Bang On PR, who tweeted the news just four hours ago, Flying Lotus has hidden ten test pressings of his fifth studio album ‘You’re Dead’ in the stores of independent UK retailers across the country. Lucky crate diggers can get ahead by popping down to (we imagine) Rough Trade or Piccadilly for an exclusive listen – and if you find it, it’s yours to keep!
