Building the hype, the first round of announcements have just been made for 2015. Just by taking a quick glance, it’s clear to see the festival are persevering with their forward-thinking booking policies.

More than ever there appear to be an abundance of hip hop, grime and garage artists filling the bill; including garage maestro Zed Bias, hip hop legends Run The Jewels (Killer Mike and El-P), Pete Rock, Jeru The Damaja and The Beatnuts, as well as alternative upstarts like Flatbush Zombies and Little Simz – the first repping support from Joey Bada$$’s Pro Era crew, the second named Giles Peterson’s breakthrough artist of 2014.

London grime is equally well represented with Boy Better Know (aka brothers JME and Skepta), Wiley, Jammer, Frisco, Shorty & DJ Maximum all booked to tear up the dance alongside pioneering instrumental grime producer Mumdance, who broke through into the mainstream this year partially thanks to his collaborations with 17 year old emcee Novelist. Adding a bit of spice to the London-centric grime bill, however, are Bristolian boys Kahn & Neek. Equipped with one of the freshest record bags on the scene with an enviable number of dubplates, these two are not ones to be missed.

Keeping the festival’s heavy dubstep tradition alive, Outlook favourite DJ EZ returns alongside Pinch, Distance, Commodo, Kaiju and Digital Mystikz’ Mala and Coki to rock the 140. Looking equally promising are the early confirmations on the drum and bass side, which include legends Goldie, Noisia, Om Unit and Exit Records’ founder dBridge as well as production talents Mefjus and Enei, Skeptical and Kasra.

Further announcements include dancehall and reggae icon Cutty Ranks, the luminary selector that is David Rodigan (returning to present his own Ram Jam main stage takeover), the BBC’s ‘Sound of 2015’ artist Protoje and The Indiggnation, as well as festival regulars Mungo’s HiFi, Iration Steppas, Trojan Sound System and Channel One Sound System.

Electronic talent continues to go well represented this year with further confirmations from Mount Kimbie, Paleman, The Bug ft. Flowdan, Manga & Miss Red, Jon Phonics and DJ Milktray, DJ Haus, Skitz, Kromestar and more. Check out the full line up announcements below in Outlook’s new video, and bait your breath for more to come in February – including the artists for the Ampitheatre opening concert!

If you’re super keen and looking to save your pennies, a limited number of early bird tickets are available now here. If you want to keep up with the festival on Twitter make sure to hit them up at @OutlookFestival.
