Claude von Stroke, the ‘Urban Animal’ himself is blasting into 2014 with a 17-date European tour. The Dirtybird chief kicks off the continental takeover at London’s Village Underground on the 21st of February.
The imminent tour will also see him hit Manchester, Glasgow and Barcelona, as well as must-see shows at Watergate, Berlin and Studio 80, Amsterdam, over a three-week programme. Having only recently completed a monster 25-show conquest of his homeland in the US, and on the back of his third studio album Urban Animal, von Stroke is teaming up with fellow Dirtybird label-mates J. Phlip and SecondCity.
The tour caps a remarkable 12 months for the man from San Fran, with some heavy personal releases like ‘Lay It Down’ and of course the album, his label picking up steam (you may of heard of a certain track called ‘Jack’ by Ben Westbeech’s alter-ego Breach) and not forgetting his sets behind the decks at clubs and festivals worldwide.
Now a fully-fledged, two-time Essential Mixologist, von Stroke is already showing that he has no intentions of resting on his laurels in 2014. Check out his latest Essential Mix for BBC Radio 1 as well as the full tour details below.
