On Thursday, October 10th, Fine Grain Records will celebrate the launch Cain’s ‘Mora’ EP with a very special knees-up at The Alibi in Dalston, East London.
The line up includes Hyperdub’s LV, Auntie Flo (Huntleys & Palmers/Highlife), Russian bass producer OL, Fine Grains label head Uraki Riddim and, of course, Cain. Things kick off from 9pm until 3am and entry will be free of charge all night.
Cain is a mysterious producer of epic, ethereal and poly-rhythmic sounds, hailing from the Highlands of Scotland. His first contribution to Fine Grains, tenacious afrobeat cut ‘Maasai’, received support from Auntie Flo, B.Traits on BBC Radio 1 and Hyperdub trio, LV, who have demonstrated their regard for Cain by appearing as guest remixers on the ‘Mora’ EP.
The ‘Mora’ EP is the first in a series leading up to Cain’s debut LP on Fine Grains. Early support has come from from Brackles, Auntie Flo, Slick Shoota, Mamiko Motto and Ally McCrae and Radio 1.
