Ultra Music’s rising global sensation, Betta Lemme is back with her new single “Kick The Door.” Meant to be the ‘fight song’ off her forthcoming collection, Betta is quite literally kicking the door down and proving she isn’t going anywhere until her voice and message is heard.
The singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist has already cemented herself as an artist to watch, having gone viral with her debut “Bambola” which has over 50 million views on YouTube and peaked on the charts at #1 in Israel, #4 and certified-GOLD in Italy, and #50 Worldwide while her latest release “Give It” follows suit with 1 million views on YouTube since its release in mid-December.
Before “Bambola,” Betta made her splash onto the scene co-writing and lending vocals on Sofi Tukker‘s smash hit “Awoo” which saw commercial success and over 25 million streams across DSPs. Betta draws inspiration from 90’s/00’s dance pop mixed with classic pop from the 60’s-90’s as well as her love for language – seamlessly incorporating French, Italian, and English – to connect listeners all over the world.
Betta Lemme has been commended worldwide since her debut in 2016, garnering attention from Cosmopolitan, Earmilk, Elle Magazine, Grazia, MTV, TED, and more. In France, Bambola peaked at #3 on the iTunes Pop Chart. Her first ever live performance was on one of Italy’s largest national TV programs Che Tempo Che Fa with over 6 million viewers, followed shortly after by multiple major Italian festivals including Wind Summer Festival and Battiti Live.
Both festivals were televised with over 3.5 million viewers. Betta’s French TV debut was an acoustic piano performance of the hit single live on one of the most watched and influential TV shows in the country, C à vous, followed by a live performance on Touche pas à mon poste!, where she surprised the audience by shredding her guitar.
