And the way of the Techno Samurais continues with yet more solo sword art. This time by storyteller and serious jester Dr. Nojoke. As the inventor of ‘clickno‘ his live sets consists of real hardware, i.e. found objects, daily life items and serendipitous interactions. Consequently, his productions consist of often asynchronous layers of minimal contemplation, forgetful exploration of objects and their sound properties and slow, magic built-ups for the initiated. Let yourself be sucked in into the wondrous and ponderous world of a Dr…..
Featuring a sample of Ulay & Abramović’s 1978 performance “AAA AAA”, Dr. Nojoke’s “aaa” takes darks and brooding techno from the leftfield into the realms of sound art, and back to the dancefloor once again. “Kahfir” twists and turns and builds, it’s nocturnal textures enveloping all.

DESTROY ALL MONSTERS
Four masked techno ronins from Berlin and Shanghai who vowed to destroy the monsters of late electronic music’s uniformity. Hence, Destroy All Monsters, the label was born. The founding members share many years of diverse (electronic) music backgrounds, some of them made a name for themselves in underground circles, some are semi glorious, some completely unknown – here, they are nothing but determined, dealing with their artistic (and other) demons, performing as DJs, and live-acts.
The label is cut out as an outlet for what the founders believe contemporary Techno should sound like – weird, rather interesting, open for influences from other genres, unforeseeable at times, not repeating the known formulas, or using them in another context. Simply moving too fast to be put in a gift box by that ambitious enemy called commercialisation, who may suffer many surprising destructions.
