‘Moshun’ – ‘Stranger’

Today’s free slice of the underground and underappreciated is a body jackin’ shake-up from Nottingham DJ/producer Moshun. Considering all you need to do to get this track is click one button, you better get on with it. While the snare is a tad wet and could do with a little more crunch in the mid-freq’s, by the time the bass comes along you’re already tucked in nicely to this little sucker.

It doesn’t stop there as it continues to evolve and add sprinkles of fresh ingredients to a mix of rolling funk that never feels crowded. The multi-instrumentalist has a body count in the dozens with releases under Moshun and a pair of aliases in Kinky Movement and Onsei on a virtually inexhaustible list of labels including Dope Records, Well Hung Music and 6th Sense.
